Storefront's special categories are the Featured Products, the New Products, the Most Popular Products and the Promoted Products. These catagories are displayed at the top of the nevigation menu
Not all categories are viewable to all customers
Which categories are viewable to a logged in user depends on which products the user can view. If for example the promoted products are not applicable to the logged in user (because of user's related price list or because of promotion rules), the Offers category will not be viewable
Featured Products Category
This category is displayed only if at least one product has been marked as fetauted product. This is accomplished in product's Storefront basic options by selecting the following option:
New Products Category
This category is displayed only if at least one product has been marked as new product. This is accomplished in product's Storefront basic options by selecting the following option:
Most Popular Products Category
This category is displayed if it has been enabled in Storefront's configuration settings:
- Login to Cloud BSS and select Setup > Administration > System Options > Storefront Configuration.
- Check "Enable Most Popular Products section".
- Type the amount of days, weeks or months in the relative field, in order to define which orders will be taken into account for finding the most popular products.
- Once you finish configuring Storefront Settings, click on "Save".
This category will include the products ordered the period defined in the options ordered by top selling products.
Promoted Products Category
The promoted products are displayed in Offers category and this category is displayed only if at least one product in Storefront is under promotion.
